We have an exciting opportunity for a Solutions Architect in our Norcross, GA, location. The Solutions Architect will perform presales and integration functions to include the design and development of complex solutions to various application, system administration and network issues.
Key Responsibilities
  • Completes and performs project designs, implementations, configurations, and upgrades. This includes troubleshooting for all customer environments.
  • Provides peer reviews of implementations, configurations, and documentation for team members.
  • Performs presales, technical, pipeline, milestone, and project management for particular technology.
  • Provides support to the sales and engineering teams, by delivering precise solution designs, attending customer meetings and conference calls, and assisting in facilitating technical sales on more complex solutions.
  • Assists and mentors other team members with deployment or best practices.
  • Maximizes billable utilization levels by managing customer relationships and providing clear and continuous communication to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Conducts weekly status meetings and conference calls with project customers to provide project status, plans, tasks, and issues.
  • Engages in continuous learning to stay abreast on new and emerging technologies. This includes obtaining
  • vendor-related certifications, to enhance professional development and our corporate standing with our vendors.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
  • Proficiency in the English language and reading comprehension
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of pre-sales experience with a Value Added Reseller or 5+ years in a datacenter architecture
  • Relevant knowledge in Network Management, Security, Planning, Traffic Engineering and Implementation
  • Experience in virtualization, storage, load balancing, security, and firewalls required
  • Excellent customer service and troubleshooting skills with a strong service orientation focus
  • Effective interpersonal and active listening skills
  • Operative active learning skills to understand the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
  • Strong time management to effectively and efficiently manage one’s own time
  • The ability to effectively instruct others on how to complete a task or activity
  • Ability to solve problems using inductive and deductive reasoning
  • Ability to develop solutions based on a set of specific rules or guidelines
  • Strong critical thinking, complex problem solving, appropriate judgment, and decision making skills
  • Ability to sense and forecast problem areas
  • Ability to see details at a close range
  • Excellent oral and written communication and expression skills, to include effective presentation skills
  • Ability to be conversant about company, solutions and product strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats
  • Project management and resource tracking skills
  • Ability to design complex solutions incorporating numerous products and features
  • Ability to objectively evaluate the health or readiness of a network
  • Ability to apply theoretical knowledge of systems to develop solutions to address business requirements
  • Ability to develop specifications for conducting feasibility and trade studies
  • Ability to work effectively and add value as a team member
  • Ability to coordinate across various groups and functional teams
  • Ability to demonstrate technical knowledge and consultative skills
  • Ability to perform tasks with minor supervision
Preferred Skills: 
  • CCNP or CCIE Route/Switch preferred
  • Citrix certifications preferred
