We have an exciting opportunity to add a Service Account Specialist to our Professional Services Organization in Iselin, NJ. As a Service Account Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and ensure the delivery of Customer purchased Professional Service for Core Network, Collaboration, Data Center and Wireless technologies.

Service Requests received can involve one or multiple technologies, consisting of small to medium scopes and revenue amounts. This position will work cooperatively with members of the designated Engineering teams, Sales and Operations and will operate with a high degree of independence. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serves as liaison between end users and development (technical and non-technical departments) during all phases of the professional service contract.
  • Performs project management duties from feasibility analysis through implementation.
  • Creates all requirements and business design documentation.
  • Plans, conducts and directs the analysis of business problems. Prepares work-effort estimates and solution approaches.
  • Provide day to day management for all non-project based requests for Professional Service.
  • Review and monitor service request progress to assure quality and adherence to requirements on internal and customer procedures and specifications
  • Schedule all internal and external reviews and meetings as necessary.
  • Communicate at multiple levels (team members, peers, management, contractors and clients) in order to ensure delivery of Service Request
  • Communicate customers’ responsibilities to ensure they are an active participant as required for a successful Service Request    
  • Maintain accuracy and timelines of Service Request time and budget tracking
  • Ensure pre-requisites and calendar constraints are fulfilled
  • Ability to understand and control scopes of work
  • Manage Service Request risks to resolve conditions adversely affecting on-time performance, profitability and customer satisfaction
  • Manage delivery consensus and Service Request completion
  • Contribute and offer feedback to improve Service Request lifecycle content and processes

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
  • 2+ years customer service (or relevant) experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Customer Facing Skillset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to respond effectively and appropriately to any internal and external inquiries and requests.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong tactical, strategic and critical thinking
  • Self-Motivated (takes initiative)
  • Ability to maintain calmness under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task while coordinating several simultaneous events
  • Information gathering and monitoring
    • Maintain records in timely and accurate mode
  • Must be comfortable with technology and quick to pick up new software programs and devices.
