Due to continued growth, Presidio is currently hiring a Project Manager in our Edina, MN location.
The Project Manager works to ensure executional excellence and a supreme customer experience for all assigned projects. The Project Manager applies project management skills to coordinate deliverables, develop and manage timelines, ensure effective utilization of resources, identify project risks and effectively communicate internally and externally.  This position reports to the Practice Manager of Project Management.
Key Responsibilities
  • Work with account teams to gather necessary information to initiate new projects.
  • Lead customer projects start to finish.
  • Take ownership of projects to see through to entirety.
  • Identify appropriate engineering resources for new projects.
  • Take lead to ensure communication on project status, milestones, and next steps are clearly defined both internally and externally.
  • Create formal communication and documentation that is professional and clear.
  • Lead meetings and communication that can take place in person or over the phone.
  • Provide direction and feedback to project teams on assignments, goals, and timelines.
  • Ability to review and understand contracts and Statements of Work (SOW) and be able to make sure they are followed in full.
  • Manage projects to a budget and be able to track and communicate this information.
  • Monitor project financials and deadlines closely, escalate accordingly if problems are foreseen.
  • Manage time and resources and can be creative when scheduling conflicts arise.
  • Maintain accurate project information in Changepoint Time Tracking system.
  • Handle customer service enquiries and escalate appropriately to the Practice Manager of Project Management and Director of Professional Services.
  • Creation of project plans and timelines and being able to stick to project goals and meet milestones.
  • Track project changes.
  • File project documents for archival reasons.
  • Assist with finding resources for ticket escalation from customer support.
  • Find resources in other areas of Presidio to staff local projects as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
  • Good organizational skills; detailed oriented.
  • Excellent communication (Oral/Written) / interpersonal skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills including client-facing consulting skills.
  • Ability to coordinate projects efficiently.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once.
  • Problem solving attitude.
  • Comfort taking a leadership stance.
  • Self-motivated and desire to succeed.
  • 3+ years of related experience in managing or coordinating projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Negotiation skills are a plus.
  • Technical background with a high level understanding of the below is a plus.
