 About this job

We are seeking a Physical Security Project Manager with a strong track record of managing and coordinating projects utilizing multiple manufacturers’ equipment and software services including card access control, IP based security video systems, intrusion detection and other electronic physical security sub-systems.  The ideal candidate would have comprehensive knowledge and deployment experience of Lenel, RS2, Open Options, Milestone, Avigilon and Bosch hardware and software systems.

In this post-sales role, you will be working with clients, field engineers, Solution Architects and Account Executives to insure timely and satisfactory installation meeting the client and Presidio quality standards.


  • Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Review deliverables including submittals prepared by team before meeting with the client.
  • Effectively apply our methodology and enforce project standards.
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  •  Track and report team hours and expenses on a weekly basis.
  • Determine appropriate revenue recognition, ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Manage day-to-day client and subcontractor interactions, set and manage expectations.
  • Develop lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client loyalty.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and all other contractors involved in the project.
  • Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
  • Facilitate team and client meetings effectively.
  • Keep project team well informed of changes within the scope or project.
  • Effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors.
  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
  • Understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
  • Coordinate all project activities with business owners/stakeholders and other trades.
  • Manage the completion and distribution of all deliverables to customers, by tracking the delivery status and installation schedules, in accordance with required timeframes.
  • Oversee change order management.
  • Collect all closeout documentation together in a timely manner and deliver to client while also maintaining an archive for Presidio.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
  • Experience 3+ years of related experience in managing Physical security projects.
  • Excellent communication (Oral/Written)/interpersonal skills.
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills including client-facing consulting skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate projects efficiently.
  • Self-motivated and desire to succeed.
