We have an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) in our Caledonia, MI office. The ISR is responsible for meeting quarterly total revenue objectives by identifying sales opportunities within our customer base and customer prospects. Additionally, the ISR is responsible for managing small scale accounts to allow Account Managers to focus on larger scale opportunities.
Key Responsibilities 
Business & Customer Support:
  • Utilizes internal tools, systems and processes effectively in order to meet objectives.
  • Assists customers and sales team in the selection of computer hardware, software, and services to meet customer needs.
  • Generates and delivers accurate sales quotes for customers within 24 hours of request.
  • Determines appropriate markups based upon sales volume, profit margins, contracted rates, competitive market conditions and company pricing calculators. This includes discussing pricing strategy with Sales and Operations managers in supported sales territory.
  • Develops active customer relationships from the inside, while adding value to each customer by proactively seeking issue resolution.
  • Contacts former customers to reactivate interest in new business, products, and services.
  • Maximizes all aspects of each deal to include, associated cost evaluation, 3rd party engagement, and increased distribution channel utilization.
  • Handles all registrations for deals and ensures Cisco OIP (DARTS) are approved.
  • Works with engineering team to define appropriate milestones and hours for Service Agreements and Statements of Work for post sales implementations.
  • Ensures complete understanding of larger scale accounts to assist with customer questions in the absence of the supporting Account Manager.
  • Collaborates with regional sales teams to support the needs of the region.
  • Assists with organization and helps drive attendance to targeted marketing events and campaigns.
  • Works closely with territory vendors to assess market opportunities and challenges.
Documentation Support
  • Maintains up to date customer account, contact, and project information in internal systems and utilizes notes sections to track accomplished tasks and pipeline activities. This includes keeping forecast and pipeline up to date.
  • Technical Learning and Development
  • Leverages relationships with vendors to remain up to date on all promotions and vendor pricing programs (i.e., State/other Contracts, Rebates and Vendor Registration programs).
  • Maintains a comprehensive understanding of Cisco, EMC, and VMware products and services and can position solutions successfully.
  • Attends Cisco monthly Partner Power sessions in Cisco’s office and other vendor training
Required Skills
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures.
  • Knowledge of basic computer hardware and software to include, Microsoft software applications and online sales and quoting tools.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing techniques and principles.

Required Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in Inside Sales, Sales Operations, or Sales Support required.
  • Experience with Cisco solutions and quoting tools required.
