This position is for engineers who are willing to learn new and exciting technologies. (minimal travel).  You would be based out of the BUFFALO, NY area.

As a member of the customer support team, you will be expected to answer, respond and resolve calls, emails and customer portal tickets. The types of service calls include assistance with a single user IP phone problem, configuration setups (utilizing administration tools or to restore service).

Performance is measured by Customer Satisfaction scores, queue availability and service tickets completed within standard SLA’s. These are reported and reviewed on a monthly basis. Personal development and goals are also established per individual.

Key Responsibilities:

•Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, resolves and documents issues on various clients Citrix Infrastructures
•Performs upgrades on Citrix Infrastructure Components
•Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups
•Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs
•Relies on instructions and established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
•Works under minimal supervision and prioritizes incoming work.

Qualifications (Citrix):

  • 2+ years of relevant experience required
  • Understanding of the different Layers of the Citrix Infrastructure
  • Upgrade and perform basic troubleshooting on NetScaler
  • Create LBVIPs on NetScaler
  • Install and renewal of SSL Certificates
  • 1+ years experience of Director (Required)
  • Citrix Centric 3rd party Tools - FSlogix, Appsense etc. (Desired)
  • Image Management using MCS, PVS etc.
  • Working knowledge of Citrix WEM, Citrix Profile Manager

Qualifications (General):
•Active Directory administration (Understanding of GPO, DNS, DHCP strongly recommended)
•Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA-V) is a plus
•Citrix Certified Associate - Networking (CCA-N) is a plus
•Hypervisor (VMware, Hyper-V, Acropolis, XenServer) knowledge a plus
•Basic Networking troubleshooting experience (desired)
•ServiceNow ticket management experience (desired)
•Ability to work with little local assistance (one colleague), but with strong support from national teammates
•Excellent interpersonal skills and superior customer service ethics a must
•Strong written and oral communication skills
•Ability to travel as needed
•Self-motivated and desire to succeed, Strong communication and customer service skills

Physical Demands & Work Environment

While performing the duties of this position, individuals may be required to stand for extended periods of time using handheld equipment and power tools. This position also requires the ability to spend time walking, standing, and touring medical and other facilities. May lift and carry up to 50lbs. May encounter frequent climbing of stairs and ladders.
