The Contracts Administrator II serves as a primary resource for contract and subcontract management for Presidio’s Public Sector. This position will support a wide variety of contracts with responsibility for cradle-to-grave contract administration. Successful candidates will be responsible for managing Federal, state, local, and tribal government contracts and managing subcontracts awarded by prime contractors, system integrators and orders issued under partner contracts (i.e. GSA, NASPO, DIR, etc.). Administrators are also be responsible for the maintenance of all contract data in company database(s), contract repositories, and the submission of customer and government compliance reports, supplier registrations and other ad-hoc reporting as required. 


  • Review, prepare risk briefings, and coordinate with Director Government Contracts and/or Legal for the review and negotiation of nondisclosure agreements, teaming agreements, prime and subcontract agreements, RFx and other agreements.
  • Support proposal preparation. Provide counsel on teaming strategies and subcontracting risks, including assisting with the development of mitigation strategies for proposal submittals.
  • Complete company representations and certifications, supplier questionnaires, online registrations and compliance   reporting (i.e. Diversity, Subcontract compliance, Service Contract Act, etc.).
  •  Process bid, payment and performance bonds; and certificates of insurance.
  •  Perform research to answer contract specific questions and communicate contractual risks.
  • Work with Account Managers, Inside Sales Representative s and various business operation functions and departments to ensure compliance and mitigate contractual and financial risks.
  • Maintain contract files for each contract awarded in approved company contract database and repositories in accordance with established contract administration processes, document management and retention policies.
  • Track contract status, modifications, deliverables, reporting and contract closeout documentation in accordance with company policies, contract terms and conditions.


  • Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience with a government contractor managing Federal, state or local contracts. Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Contract Management or related field. NCMA certification or related coursework a plus. Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations, DFARS, state and local procurement laws and regulations required. Experience managing GSA Schedules desirable.
  • Excellent analytical skills, effective written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to identify issues and problems and make independent recommendations to direct supervisor(s), program staff, and business unit management.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office, Intermediate level Excel and PowerPoint. SharePoint or database management and analysis required.
