Business Development Manager – Data Center, Dublin, OH

You thrive in a dynamic environment and have a proven track record of over delivering on quota. You possess a clear understanding of consultative selling and demonstrate a drive for client success. Data Center BDMs with these rare traits will be well-rewarded with a great base salary and uncapped commission. Every single day, the Data Center BDMs will work collaboratively with clients, key business partners, internal account teams, and project teams to enhance business relationships and exceed client standards.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Understanding the clients business model, interpersonal structure and unique needs
  • Cold-calling and hunting for new business opportunities in the greater Columbus area
  • Clearly communicate Presidio's portfolio of Digital Transformation, Cloud and Cyber security solutions to clients and prospects
  • Executing sales strategies to generate product gross profit, professional service revenue and maintenance revenue while maintaining high customer loyalty
  • Builds and maintains long-term trusted relationships with clients
  • Maintaining and improving relationships with vendor partners
  • Develop and continuously refine prospecting and account growth strategies Other duties as assigned
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience.
  • 2 years of B2B outside sales experience required.
  • 2 years in the high-tech industry with meaningful experience in demand generation and new account acquisition preferred.
  • Experience in consultative, solution selling to small/mid-size clients involving complex sales cycles and multiple organizational levels.
  • Strong record of sales performance in a high-reaching environment.
  • The ability to qualify opportunities, obtain customer dedications and negotiate profitable contracts.
  • Strong market knowledge of clients, partners and competition preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • The ability to travel as needed within territory.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong drive for success, established customer and key partner relationships preferred.
